About Julia
Julia is passionate about supporting families through the development and implementation of clear, substantive and effective IEP and 504 Plans. She navigates the often complex special education process for neurodivergent students at each stage of their academic journey, K-12th grade and post-graduate studies. She promotes meaningful education advancement, by meeting the student's unique needs, across diverse educational settings.
Julia brings her extensive tenure in business consulting strategy, negotiation and programmatic planning to each facet of special education advocacy. She is passionate about empowering families with knowledge, resources and tools. Locally, she has advocated for the special education student through parent sponsored Special Education boards and district advisory committees.
She holds a Special Education Advocacy certificate through the Council of Parents, Advocates and Attorneys (COPAA) and a certificate for Advocacy in Special Education from the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET). Julia also has her B.A. in Economics from UC Davis and her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Purdue University.
